About Me

My name is William Raschke and I graduated from UCSB with a B.A. in History with a minor in Education.  Having worked with children and students of various ages throughout my high school and college years I decided to explore the path of education. I worked as a teacher's aide in a fifth grade classroom for a year while coaching volleyball, and concluded that I chose correctly in my ambition to become an educator.  Combined with my undergraduate teaching experience I used that year to determine I enjoyed secondary education the most, and I chose to further my education at the University of San Diego where I will obtain my Master’s of Education, Curriculum and Instruction and Single Subject Teaching Credentials in Social Studies and English.

Outside of my time spent teaching and studying I play tennis and volleyball, nerd out over various genres you'd expect of a history major, and hang out with my dogs.
